Do I need a passport to travel to and from Cabo San Lucas?

U.S. citizens traveling between the U.S. and Mexico are required to present a valid passport. We recommend making a photocopy of your passport and/or saving your passport information for use in the unfortunate incident of a lost passport during travel. Will I need to take a Covid test for re-entry into the US?

Not anymore! YAY! See here for more information.

Do I need Mexican currency?

Nope! In fact, they prefer US Dollars.

Do I need to notify my bank that I will be traveling to Mexico?

Although not all banks require this, we think it is wise to call your bank letting them know the dates you will be traveling.

Is there a time change from Pacific Time to Cabo?

Yes! Cabo is one hour ahead of us west coasters. Cabo San Lucas is Mountain Standard Time

What time should I arrive for the wedding weekend?

Our first wedding event kicks off with a Welcome Party on Thursday, June 23rd starting at 7 PM. Please make sure you give yourself enough time to land at the airport, get your luggage, go through customs, and 30-40 minutes to get to the hotel to check in and get ready for the party.

Will the Ceremony and Reception be outside?

Yes! Our Ceremony starts at promptly 6 PM before sunset so it will be warm and sunny. We recommend bringing your sunglasses so you can enjoy the ceremony! We will then head to the cocktail hour followed by the reception, both will be outside. Nighttime temperatures will be around 70 - 75 degrees °F (you got to love Cabo right?)

What is the dress code for the wedding & welcome party?

Wedding: Black Tie Optional

Welcome Party: Beach Formal

What shoes should we wear?

All of our events are on paved ground. Wear whatever you would like, but most importantly shoes you can dance in :)

Will there be any free time outside the wedding festivities?

Yes! We wanted to have our wedding on Friday to ensure our guests had time to enjoy all that Cabo has to offer during the remainder of the weekend. See here a list of amazing activities you can enjoy in Cabo.

Is the wedding adults only?

Yes, while we love your children so much, due to safety and space restrictions we cannot accommodate children and hope to celebrate with them in the future!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. But don’t worry, we will take lots of pictures :)
